How we handle your data when you register.

What we collect

When you register for the Annual Conference 2027 we collect the information you enter on the registration form:

  • Your name, email, phone, company, and mailing address
  • Names, designation, phone, and PTIN of any additional attendees on your registration
  • Payment details — entered in a secure hosted payment form and tokenized there (see below); we receive only the cardholder name and the card's last four digits
  • Any accommodation notes you choose to share
  • If you claim free entry as a user with PitBullTax® Membership, the email tied to your Membership so we can verify it

If you sponsor the conference

When a company purchases a sponsorship we also collect the company name, the names, emails, and phone numbers of the business contacts you provide (primary, billing, and on-site), and any logo or brand files you upload through the vendor portal. Unlike attendee data, your company name and logo are displayed publicly — on the conference website, on-site signage, and promotional materials — as part of the sponsorship you purchased. You can ask us to update or remove your logo at any time by emailing info@pitbulltax.com; the use of sponsor names and logos is described in our terms.

How payment data is handled

Card details are entered in a secure payment form hosted by the PitBullTax® internal payment processor (operated by the PitBullTax® development team) and tokenized there — raw card numbers and CVVs are never sent to, processed by, or stored on this conference site. We receive only a one-time payment token plus the cardholder name and the card's last four digits, which we log for support purposes. Payment is processed alongside other PitBullTax® orders.

Who else sees your data

The PitBullTax® team uses your registration to deliver the conference: send confirmation, badge production, room-block coordination with Loews Portofino Bay, and CE/CPE credit reporting if applicable. Universal Orlando and Loews Portofino Bay receive aggregate attendance numbers for room-block fulfillment and event operations — not individual registrant data. We do not sell attendee data, and we do not share it with marketing partners outside of the PitBullTax® product family.

Email and follow-up

Registering opts you into transactional email about the conference (confirmation, agenda updates, logistics). After the conference ends we may email registrants once with session recordings and a feedback survey. You can unsubscribe at any time; we will continue to send transactional notices required to fulfill your registration.

Record retention

Per PitBullTax® Institute's record-retention policy, the following information is held in our database for five (5) years:

  • Name of participant
  • Address
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Dates and locations of the program
  • Number of CPE credits earned
  • Results of program evaluations

This retention period supports IRS and NASBA continuing-education requirements. You can request deletion at any time, subject to the recordkeeping we are required to maintain by law or by our CE/CPE accreditation obligations.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold on you, ask us to correct inaccuracies, or ask us to delete your record. Email info@pitbulltax.com with the email you registered under and we will respond within 30 days.
